This thread got me thinking and I believe I finally figured out why I'm avoiding flashes nowadays, even though they used to be my favorite thing ever in the past. It's that I moved on from speakers and headsets with knobs / rockers to headphones with no physical volume control. With every normal video I watch, I always use the first buffer second to bring the volume down and then adjust it so that my eardrums won't burst. I can't do that with flashes and always have to move my mouse down to the speaker icon and bring it down to like 5%, then play the flash, then go to the bottom right again to adjust and then afterwards I gotta go down there again to bring it up to 100% again.
I hate having to do this, I really need a cable with a volume rocker.

>>847Yeah, I ran into this issue when opening flashes to decide on one to upload. Full volume on flashes is definitely something that wakes you up; most of my programs are at 20-30% volume because I need to stand up and adjust a physical dial to increase the system volume otherwise.
I guess you could use system settings to reduce the volume of the browser (or stand-alone flash player).
>>851>10/10 flashYep! Made by the flanfly guy, Yamato Damashi. A true master of flash.
