You can't just compare unrelated things like that. It's a very twisted and inauthentic way to have a discussion.
I think it's true that gacha greatly harmed VNs since they're like watered down VNs that generate 500000x the profit by replacing long stories for exclusive JPEGs or jiggly Live2D boobs. Nasu, Key, and even Aquaplus attempted to make the jump. Key's gacha was so successful in China that they were bought out by some Chinese conglomerate (probably Tencent but I don't care to look) and are now otherwise dead apart from requisite re-releases.
Aquaplus in particular had a "Come read a VN instead of playing gacha" campaign for Utawarerumono 2 and 3 in Japan, but eventually they attempted to milk it with Utawarerumono's terrible dimensional-warping and time travel gacha that invalidates Utawarerumono's story.
Nasu does get credit for using filthy gacha money to release actual games like Extella and remakes of Tsukihime.

Maybe it's a result of my own doujin predilections but that guy should maybe rethink his username. Cool news for the creator, though. People can be very good at taking care of each other at the lower end of the economic bracket and it makes life a bit more bearable.

The most predictable administration

 No.36809

Not sure what you mean by that.

But anyway. This image doesn't depict the fact that even cars made in the USA have many Mexican and Canadian components. Mexico is a source of low cost labour for the low end manufacturing that goes into many products in the USA including cars.

This is actually good for the US as it keeps costs down and means that this low end manufacturing can be off shored(after all, a lot of that work would be done by immigrants in the USA if it was to be done in the USA anyway and having these low skilled jobs off shored frees US labour up for better things).

Adding costs to US car will also make them less competitive globally and reduce US exports even more.

Halo is moving to the Unreal engine. Halo is not important enough to post about on /qa/ or /jp/ so I will post about it here. The announcement video they made isn't important enough to post either so I will post this nice song instead.

I'm not sure what the point of the thread is if the topic isn't important at all but I hope people appreciate the song that I posted and I hope people appreciate the time and effort I spent watching the Halo Unreal engine announcement video and the time and effort I spent in making this thread. I hope people appreciate the effort I went to in selecting this song as well, I wasn't sure what song I was going to choose to post but I thought long and hard about it and in the end I felt that this song was the best song to post. I hope that the people of this board appreciate this thread that I have made.

Trump's positive influences are very weird and unpredictable. Often times they seem a byproduct of some other motive.

The Texas legislature is intentionally dysfunctional because of its response to Reconstruction. Post-Civil War, a Radical Republican was elected as Governor and used the power of the State to enact liberal policies. In response, the Democrats did mass voter fraud and voter intimidation causing a Democrat to be elected. The previous governor refused to recognize the results of the election, but the Federal government sided with the Democrats. The newly elected Democrat legislature then began a constitutional convention and intentionally drafted an extremely lengthy and specific constitution that made power decentralized and rolled back the policies enacted during the previous governorship. As a result, the Governor has basically no power. Instead, power is mostly distributed among their cabinet (whom the Governor does not get to appoint). Furthermore, instead of the legislature meeting annually, the Texas legislature meets only once every 2 years for only 140 days. Legislators are also only paid $600 per month, with an additional $221 per day when in-sesion. This basically means that you either have to have a secondary job in addition to being a legislator or have to be extremely wealthy so as not to need to work during your term... All of this cemented Texas as being not only dysfunctional and slow to react, but also lead it to being a corrupt one-party state, which it remains to this day.

Needless to say, it's not really a surprise that the State focuses on random bullshit that helps no one.
