Excluding sequels, I count 19 shows that I'm interested in to some degree, main ones being Sentouin, Mug Cup, 86 and Shadows House.
Im going to watch shadow house and maybe try out 86, other than that i think that this is catch up season
Not much I'm really thinking about picking up either. Think I'll try more working on my backlog instead
This season is mostly gambles. I always recalled spring season having a bunch of sequel hits, but it seems like we're not getting the best IPs.
I think the movies and shorts section had some nice things to it. Movies take a year to translate and might not even be translated(shirobako movie), but the shorts have some etotama, kaguya and others
so far this season is not looking too great
Overall a rather unexciting season imo. Only one I'm really looking to is Nagatoro-san, although I also plan on watching Slime 300, Bishounen Tanteidan, Blue Reflection Ray and Battle Athletess.
this season is pretty great for me, theres adaptations for Nagatoro and Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshikousei wo Hirou both of which i read the manga for and like
Super Cub and Yakunara Mug Cup mo both looks like good CGDCT anime and of course Osananajimi ga Zettai ni Makenai Love Comedy is made by Doga Kobo so I watch
Mashiro no Oto and Bishounen Tanteidan are the ones im really excited for because shimasen is cool and a new Shinbou anime
Oh yeah, I didn't see Mewkledreamy Mix in the seasonals chart in MAL. Though looks like it is in MAL's database. Wonder how many more anime goes under the radar because of this.
blue reflection ray if it's yuri, then maybe SSSSSS, and dinosaur biyori if there's subs
Looks like I'll have 13-15 anime to watch weekly this season...
- Mewkledreamy Mix
- Koi to Yobu ni wa Kimochi Warui
- Yakunara Mug Cup mo (possibly drop)
- Dragon, Ie wo Kau.
- Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshi Kousei wo Hirou.
- Tensura Nikki
- Seijo no Maryoku wa Bannou Desu (most likely drop)
- Kyuukyoku Shinka Shita Full Dive RPG ga Genjitsu yori mo Kusogee Dattara
- Super Cub
- Zombieland Saga: Revenge
- Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max ni Nattemashita
- Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san
- Bishounen Tanteidan
- Shadows House
- Osananajimi ga Zettai ni Makenai Love Comedy
Should probably drop some for binge....
Dynazenon atm, the new Shinbo show, potentially 86 and whatever else looks interesting.
this 'nime was pretty crap but i really liked the fanservice think i'm gonna watch ithttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yF79-2j9-Q
Now to wait for NC version and set it as screensaver or something.
Also is it just the style of the singer for the song in the PV, or does it really remind anyone else of something from Umineko.
My most waited show for this season was "Super Cub" and the first episode didn't disappoint at all, then pic related are some shows that seemed interesting as well and added to RSS, I never watched that many seasonals so I'm excited
Oh and of course Kumo still airing.
I don't know why Back Arrow is still there I'm not even watching it anymore lol.
Another thing to note is that the first episode of "Odd Taxi" was great.
What do you mean 'despite the visuals'. They were more than decent.
Are these anthropomorphic ("furry") images?
They just might be!
Really impressed by the overall quality of OPs and EDs this season, a whole bunch of stuff that stands out from the rest. My favorite so far would have to be Nomad's since it's a nice reference to the old westerns it takes influence from. https://oyasumi-chyuu.fun/video/index.php?ID=2649
season is surprisingly above average. The titles don't seem impressive from descriptions and cover pictures, but a lot of high effort titles. Spring is still the best anime season.
Got a feeling this is going to be one of those shows that end up being even better on rewatch.
the ranking is out, super cub is leading by a large margin
top rated shows:
Super Cub 53.74%
Hige wo Soru 49.49%
Zombie Land Saga 49.49%
Shadows House 49.29%
Slime Taoshite 300-nen 48.89%
It's really good, I'm surprised nobody is watching it. Maybe because the only ways to are through fansubs or Japanese netflix.
It's also got the best girl of the season.
Looks interesting enough, but I'm not watching it because it seems like one of those shows aimed at fans of the franchise and I've never seen a Godzilla movie besides that shitty American one from the early 00s.
I see. Maybe I'll check it out.
