I've been playing minecraft. Modded to hell and back.
I made a marble house, pure fucking marble! And I'm now making an above ground tunnel towards a turkish village (that's a mod too).
playing ck3 and vermintide 2 right now
looking forward to maybe cyberpunk and dartktide other than official games, Beyond Skyrim's Atomora and Roscrea projects and then a handful of projects for ck2/ck3
paused my yakuza 0 playthrough so I could play 2hu luna nights. I just finished it yesterday so I'm gonna keep playing it and then play nier automata and the rest of the yakuza games. xbox gamepass ftw!!!
>>52261>Beyond Skyrim's Atomora
are skyblivion and skywind still being worked on?
yeah, skywind doesn't seem to have has much content to show but i swear i saw a gameplay demo of the first few quests of morrowind recentlyhttps://skyblivion.com/skyblivion-our-first-content-release/https://tesrskywind.com/
maybe ill try it out soon. ive been meaning to get back into morrowind but i lost most of my save data which means id have to start from scratch. id rather not start vanilla morrowind and then restart skywind right after, mostly because i dont enjoy the leveling system at all
been playing dark souls 3 a lot lately
bought it last year and got to vordt but for some reason decided he was impossible to beat and shelved it
playing alot of league of legends because I have a problem, aside from that i recently picked up apex legends because I saw vtubers streaming it and i like the gameplay but dont really have anyone to play with which is a must for those types of games
will play ck3 after first patch and will eventually play victoria 2 again
don't get how people have so much trouble with vordt, it's just a case of dodging and punishing his aggression that gives a very big window for damage
well, i think that can be said for a lot of bosses. you kind of underestimate how difficult these early game bosses can be for new players if youve been playing for a while, i remember i was stuck in the burg getting thrashed by the taurus demon every day for a month until i finally figured it out
speaking of ds3 im going to fire up CE sometime this week and see if i can reenable poise, i want to see how much it changes the game especially boss fights. ive been watching boss v boss fights a lot lately and if theres one take away from it its that staggerable bosses were a mistake. yhorm is absolutely pathetic here
dang that's a lot of skills
how's the gameplay of poe? is the campaign long or is there something to do post-endgame, like diablo's hell/nightmare/inferno or d3's rifts
Been interested in Sakuna when it got announced. Nice to see it finally get a release date after being delayed. Gundam mbon has been eating up all my free time though so I might not even play it when it comes out.
it's like a more complex and fast paced d2. i like it.
the campaign is pretty long, but there's also a lot of endgame content. there are a total of 10 acts and no higher difficulties for them (there used to be, but that was before they extended the number of acts. there were only 3 when the game first released). they leave you at around lvl 68-73 when you finish them. it can go up to 100 and the rest of that is spent doing maps and league specific stuff. most people rush through acts to get to mapping as soon as possible.
i'm lvl 63 and on act 10 right now trying to not leave my slow ass friend i'm playing with too behind.
I just bought Satisfactory. It is indeed satisfactory. Making assembly lines and automating everything is very fun.
i really really want to finish recettear but every time i fire it up i lose focus and close it after 5 minutes and then itll be 6 months until i do the exact same thing
Did I stutter...?
By the time you finish you'll have been addicted...
nothing and no
Anything I pick I drop after a week never finishing it. Only game I play regularly is warband+mods.
finally bought NieR (currently on sale for $20)
I really like it so far, but I’ve never had a game give me motion sickness like this before
I hope I can keep playing it
THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP!!!
didn't play much but genshin's nicer than I thought. everyone seems to be shitting on it due to it being botw but I personally hated botw and genshin seems to be much more fun
Dev for Maidensnow Eve just released a status scroller demo for a possible sequel. Barring a miracle "recovery" of the D&P dev, this is fine too.
Not really a game, but picked up the Vengeful Heart VN and it has been a good read. I'm a sucker for PC-98 art.
It looks neat, but at the same time the attitude it gives off really pisses me off. I can clearly recognize the characters as those from other series with distinct personalities, and the game simply waters them down to "loli". It's a bit of an affront to the characters (especially Holo who's in this despite not being a loli in any sense of the word). In the end, it's cute but upsets my autism so I dislike it.
I think it'd help to understand that this originated as, "Project Shinobu," and that Shinobu is the only character officially part of Viva Project as far I understand. Other characters may be featured in releases, but are all user made submissions to my knowledge.
In that case why does she act nothing like Shinobu...
I guess it's more a married simulator or something for the author to act out living life with Shinobu as his friendly wife or something (or daughter?).
bampuing this thread and updating my post: I finished Yakuza 0 and cried... I also finished my first playthrough of Nier and i'm gonna try to do all the quests now.
Good luck, it gets fuck you hard in the colosseum
I never played BOTW, Genshin seems okay but the combat system leaves something to be desired and the game feels too Chinese.
How's progression in it? Does it seem really mobile game-like, or does it feel like a normal game. Wondering how hard they're pushing their upgrades.
Finished Disco Elysium (I can see why people wouldn't like the ending, great game still), BotW's DLC and SMT IV (not the biggest fan). Time for Quake 2 and Etrian, drawing a map in-game looks really fuckin' cool.>>54295
The combat in BotW isn't deep, like in terms of action/skill, but it's carried by metric ton of approaches you can take. No idea about Genshin.
Progression is basically the same as a mobile game, you get characters from gacha, evolve them to level 20 and then you have to ascend them, similar system for weapons, you can get parts for both for this from daily dungeons. I am still relatively new at it so I don't know how grindy it would be to upgrade to late game levels or even if it might simply be near impossible without paying.
I've been replaying Zelda OoT recently. It is a good time killer. I've also been playing Yume Nikki recently. I really like Yume Nikki.
I've been looking forward to the Hyrule Warriors BoTW prequel and the BoTW sequel. They might be the last modern video games I'll buy.
like to open up yume nikki and fall asleep to it sometimes its relaxing
Have you tried Blood? It's also on the Build engine and is a damn good fps.
wish i had a crt monitor to play old pc stuff.
Oh wait, you meant the classic duke, oops.
Trying to think of why anyone would want that mario all stars collection if they've already got copies of the games on their original console.
the games in it have better graphix than the originals, but i heard that this is one of the complaints about it. it's not very loyal to the visuals of the originals.
Really? Thought the collection was just the regular games emulated.
I own mario 64 on cartridge, on ds, and on wii u vc and I still have my copy of sunshine. I’m not interested in playing galaxy and if I were I’d just emulate it. I bought 3d all stars because it’s a limited product and I’m a consumer drone.
Say all you want about being a consumer drone, but mario galaxy was a GREAT game
It's a true port, it features remastered graphics and music which were then repackaged and sold separately on the gameboy advance. Only real reason to get it is that it has the only western release of the lost levels. It's a lot cheaper than buying a famicom with a disk system. Unless you're talking about the new 3d all stars thing, in which case yeah it's all emulated trash don't get it.
I regret ever being a consumer drone. I at least broke away from this mindset a long while ago.
They shouldn't, and Nintendo doesn't expect them to. Super Mario 3D Allstars isn't made for hardcore fans. Nothing Nintendo makes is.
Nintendo primarily caters to 3 camps; nostalgic adults who played these games when they came out and haven't touched them since, children who like Nintendo games because they're easy, and casual gamers who whip their games out at a party or while friends are over so they can chat over the them.
A collection like 3D Allstars is great if you're any of those people, because you get 3 really good Mario games in one convenient package, and you won't know that the emulation sucks so it'll feel fine.
I’m finishing up Kinoblade Chronicles. I jumped into it blind but I’m glad I took the plunge. My biggest gripe with the game is how targets will be inactive 90% of the time, making you unable to finish quests.
Which version are you playing?
Speaking of Xenoblade, does anybody know of any good controller grips for the New 3DS XL? I always get hand cramps trying to play anything because there's nothing to really hold onto.
I just got a switch. How do I play animal crossing with my new friends on qway?
You need to buy a Nintendo online subscription, and then I think you have to share your friend code to be able to visit other people's islands.
New leaf was a better game than New Horizons. I've only played New Leaf for a long time though. I haven't played the older games yet, so I have no opinion on them.
A problem I have with Genshin is the lack of content, I'm relatively early in and the quests are drying up already, there are not really that many characters and I don't really like what they have much either. There are going to be seven nations each with their own story and presumably roster of characters but this is all a long way in the future. Maybe I will come back to it in a few years.
do you have a list of games you played? i started working on writing down every game i remember spending a significant amount of time on, it's taking me ages to finish
Beat the nigger Amalgolem. Took me six hours of grinding and reorganizing, went from dealing half his HP throughout twenty turns to killing him in five. Really liking Etrian.>>55330
I've written down a few but it's very little, the ones I don't want to forget and the ones I remember to write down. Like that point&click Primordia.
Finished my NES Mega Man collection. Started playing Gargoyle's Quest 2. It's bretty good but you can barely hover for more than a couple seconds which is annoying. I guess that will get better later in the game.
I was playing Majora's Mask earlier, but I'm just going to stop at the Stone Tower Temple part until I feel like playing Majora's Mask again.
Currently I've been playing vanilla Minecraft again. Its kinda fun now
Man, what a great game. I think it's been even longer since I last played it. Too bad the optional/post game(?) stuff really required a guide to find.
Really great music, too, but it was so hard to find all the songs online back then...
It wasn't until this latest play through that found out there was side quests I also learned that the game was meant to have a new game+ utilizing the pocket station but it was cut.
I also loved the music and the background art. Forgot to mention I'm also challenge running the game the challenge is I'm not upgrading my armour or weapons the only slot I'm using will be the accessory and it's tough so far I just started disc 3 and I think I'm in for a nightmare.
Update:Finished Nier today... what a game! What a fucking game! it may be my favorite videogame now... When I made that post I've only completed the A ending
and now I finished B,C,D and the E true ending +others, I tried not to look at guides for the sidequests but gave up lole also tried beating the credits w/o help but I said yes when someone came to help me just to see what it did and I was mad because I wanted to do it alone so I didn't delete my file to help others.
Only thing left to do is the gambler's and undergound colliseum special trials but I'll have to farm chips for it and i'm a bit burnout of grinding so I'm gonna start yakuza kiwami tomorrow and comeback to it when I feel like it.>>54293
thanks, the sidequest missions were easy once I hit the level cap but the special trials are dumb lol
I've been watching the development of this one and it's out now:https://store.steampowered.com/app/1356670/Sakuna_Of_Rice_and_Ruin/
Looks pretty fun. I'm mostly interested in the farming, but the combat looks decent, too.
Still playing mostly vermintide 2 waiting for the Chaos Waste dlc that has a release date of winter sometime. Playing cyberpunk sometimes too, the story and side quests have been interesting enough and there seems to be enough actual choice to warrant more playthrouhgs.
I played The Messenger, I liked how they used the 4th wall to make jokes without making it too intrusive or forced, it was genuinely funny sometimes and the story was ok. The gameplay is fun at first but it gets repetitive after some time and the power ups/mechanics that you get don't change the game much unfortunately. its a long game and because is repetitive I ended up wanting it to end after unlocking the map but I think I'd have complained about it being short otherwise so its ok.
Is that Super Robot Wars? I'm not too familiar with game like that.
Yeah its one of the games that got a translation recently. https://www.romhacking.net/translations/5817/
i fugging h8 the picture u chose 4 dis thred OP
tried playing control for 4 hours thinking it was gonna get good but it didn't so i dropped, people were praising as a masterpiece but its shit. at least i found some guy shitting on it on youtube unlike alan wake which was developed by the same studio
Can you post an image from the gameplay portion?
It doesn't look very good honestly. It's like a lower budget Bloodstained visually.
Also, the hud covers 50% of the screen for some reason.
I can't speak for gameplay since I don't want to play an in-development Metrovania, but wow it looks gorgeous and is very obviously an homage to SotN:https://store.steampowered.com/app/1203630/Record_of_Lodoss_WarDeedlit_in_Wonder_Labyrinth/
Plus, it's such a strange IP choice, not that I'm complaining.
I can't complain, it's much better than that other
recent entry into the Lodoss IP. Plus, metroidvania are always fun to spend a couple of days on.
Been going through https://www.euclidea.xyz/
It's a math puzzle game where the goal is to construct various shapes with a straightedge and compass.
This particular level was one of the harder ones so far for me. I spent a lot of time trying to brute force my way through with complicated algebra calculations to no avail. But then while playing with the diagram I noticed the relatively simple geometric solution.
Well, the WN did start in 2017
according to his latest blog he has been having some severe health issues lately
wonder if noaika will ever get released, the demo had some really nice pixel porn
the guy has been dying for the past 4 years
From the looks of that face I could tell it's pretty high quality, and it was very high quality. Hope the dev decides to finish it someday since it seems pretty promising, only issue being that it's controls are really awful and I can't get used to xcv
Is there anything to do in it? I remember when it came out all the videos that were on it were just people blowing stuff up, but there didn't seem to be much more to it than that.
just reborn on originsro. gonna become a lord knight and start kicking ass eventually.
I think so. I've been building a base and mining ship and now building a fighter and then I will go and explore. But I heard that recently they overhauled the combat and added new things to that but that is not in the pirated version I am playing and I have not reached combat yet so I can't say if it is lacking or not.
I found out more Doom Eternal DLC was released, and it's supposed to be really challenging!
It apparently got nerfed with the latest DLC that came out about a week ago, fuck!
What if TES 6 opens the door to even more modding possibilities?
A bunch of stuff in a short period of time.
Haven and hearth is getting another wipe and I'll make a thread in a few days to see if people want to play.
Deedlit something metroidvania is out of ea and I'll be playing that too.
Binding of Isaac is getting a new big dlc, another game to play.
let's make a game! /qa/!!
I have been bouncing around between a couple games recently, having finished none of them so far but thats ok because i like taking my time. just gotta make sure i dont stretch everything out too far because then i forget and have ti start over
i installed a psp emulator a while back and have really been getting into [email protected]
unfortunately, this game too suffers the age old tragedy of having the best girl as a npc
Playing Forza Horizon 4 right now.
Thought about actually buying it but holy crackers is it eggspensive
It's going to be kind of funny in a depressing way to see the few people who played the original floundering as the twitter generation gets their hands all over this game.
I'm looking forward to it too because I never played the original. I'll probably wait until there's a sale, though.
probably will wait and see if it gets cheaper during the summer sale too
Didn't nier come out a few years ago? Why would they remake it so soon.
It came out like a decade ago dude
about to play Snuggle With Your Cat Simulator 2021
been playing escape from tarkov again recently. still performs as poorly, and makes me as mad as it did before but the adrenaline rush of a good run is too addicting
they remade one of the PS2 games i believe
Been watching RE8 and the 1st person direction they went in actually seems like it was a pretty good decision. Didn't really look at 7 too much, but it looks like in 8 they really found how to make fps with guns work like a survival horror.
play hoi4, do pretty well, entire world declares war on me at once, game slows to a crawl, lose all the territory i gained, quit game and decide to never play hoi again.
this happens to me too much.
I decided a few weeks ago to get an android emulator and try some games. One of the first ones I tried (and the only I'm still playing) is Last Origin. It's a Korean F2P game that is thankfully not actually as stingy with money as the others I've seen. Hell, you don't need to spend money at all and there's no limited time stuff that requires you to shell out cash or miss out on.
I will say, though, that there is a LOT of grinding, but there's an auto-battle mode so I just have it doing some grinding minimized. This is one the perks of emulating it on PC, I imagine.
Unfortunately, it's not translated and it seems the a fan patch to translate it is outdated and doesn't work. I just posted on 4chan to see if I can get more info, as this is well within my modding knowledge. However, the wikipedia is extensive and I have a tab of it open when I need information.
As for the gameplay, I read someone say "ecchi megaman battle network" or something. I was never big on those Megaman Battle Network games, but now I think I need to try them.
So how do they make money if it's F2P and it's not scummy? Well, the skins are really good. REALLY good.
Uhh... I think I'll make a mp4 or two for this game soon so I can go into more detail.
I've been playing serious sam TFE in VR, 'cause I've already played through that game twice and have yet to try that, plus my VR headset's been sitting around a little underused since I started playing FFXIV.
to be honest, I feel like they messed up some of the balance. the revolver and the shotguns don't have reload animations in the VR version, so the super shotgun can absolutely shred
anything in shooting distance. everything else is amazing, though. those games work perfectly in VR. >>75396
that looks like it has a lot more actual gameplay than the phone games I'm used to seeing
ugh, revenants. those things are one of the reasons I don't play doom 2 all that much. I know if you attack them around walls and play peekaboo they're easy to deal with but even doom 2's original designers seem to forget that sometimes, let alone the modding scene
Also, something neat but maybe not too useful since you can get them for free, Doom Eternal comes with the wads for doom and doom 2, so if you have it you can just take the files from there.
I got into Eien no Aselia
having so much fun with it now
I didnt know there was a translation. I might try it because I like that artist a lot
Hmm published by JAST, so it's ero?
after 30hrs~ of playing I wanted to replay to you guys. I tried to take a screenshot and pressed the maximize icon instead of ingame full screen and it crushed. I lost everything..
WHAT?! No saved game? Huh??
were you... playing for 30 hours straight?
no, 10 today. I didn't phrase it right.
That fucking sucks, but at least now you know you should never trust Japanese programming.
t worked today, thank god I did not delete it>>75447
the ero version did not get translated for some reason
Here is a gameplay example of a team I just threw together. I'm using catbox to share it because it's 77mb https://files.catbox.moe/cbpr51.mp4
The video started out in auto mode and speed at 3x so I had to adjust it after I noticed, so you can better see things.
The catgirl is a tank with heavy evasion and I like it when she pushes the other girls out of the way to defend them and then dodges.
It's kind of really hard to tell what's going on, but uhh... yeah. I'm a bit overpowered for this stage, or at least three of the characters are.
oh wait, I guess it didn't start in auto mode...
When it comes to those types on games on android, while in the emulator are you able to fake spend money?
IS there no English version?
This is the base in last Origin where you put girls or robots to work making resources.>>75539
It's just emulating android, it's not emulating the Korean company's server and giving false info. It'd be nice if it did, though. Apparently you can get cracked versions somewhere, but the only site I found with a cursory search charged for it (and didn't have Last Origin). It seemed very warez-y and suspicious so I'm a bit skeptical. However, I have already done some simple texture replacers for the battle appearances (and people have made nude edits).>>75542
Nope but maybe eventually. It was announced like a year and a half ago and the release timetable was first half of 2021, so people have kind of lost hope. There was a fan translation for gameplay/UI stuff, but it stopped getting updated and I'm trying to figure out if that was because he chose to stop or if they blocked it. I know how to edit the localization file, btu the game rejects it and replaces it. Strangely it does not do this with image files, which is the source of their profit. I wonder if there's some sort of encoding I'm missing...
Guess I won't be playing it, at least until the English release. Anon, you understand Chinese?
Some of the guys behind FAF-- which is a fan takeover of Supreme Commander since its official servers (and company) died-- are working on their own RTS that's basically the same thing.
The attached video is an interview with Gyle who is a prominent Supreme Commander caster that I've watched for hundreds of hours probably. (really nice to have in corner of screen).
Something interesting that sticks out to me is when they said something like "You used to need millions of dollars to make video games, but you don't these days". It's the internet equivalent of some guys working out of their garage and they're making something on a technical level that's superior to what took millions of dollars and dozens of people just a decade ago. It's pretty amazing and it reminds me that I need to get off my butt and start applying myself.
The official channel with updates:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpHwyDTBQqp-okp_5_6Ze6g
I don' think they've done the best job with their command over SC2 community, but they've probably decompiled the entire supreme commander source code and/or understand everything about how it works so I hope it's good. They did design their own faction for SC2 which was on it's surface a waste of time, but perhaps they always wanted to make a new game anyways since it was clear they'd never get a sequel game of value.
I feel weird whenever people say that, cause a lot of the successful 90's pc games were made by a handful of people in a basement. it feels like people forgot how "indie" gaming was for a bit, like history just kind of swallowed it up. it absolutely did get easier, though. those guys back then had to have at least one seriously hardcore programmer to make anything worthwhile, unity godot et al have way less of a barrier to entry than that.
I think the real difference is the internet. Prior to the early 2010s, you needed to go through a publisher if you wanted your game to reach the mainstream. But as the internet got bigger, it became more and more viable to sell your games directly off the web.
I tried playing project zomboid recently after remembering it existed, but was put off by the change in art style from 2D sprites to 3D.
Could be neat to try and play together at some time, also this in a couple weeks. https://www.engadget.com/diablo-2-resurrected-open-beta-august-20-214247026.html
Free D2:Resurrected beta starts on the 20th and supports up to 7 other players, could be fun. Only problem is no Necro, which I really wanted to play.
I kinda want to try this.http://ngplus.net/index.php?/files/file/3-final-fantasy-vii-new-threat-mod/
It's like six years old with lots of updates and people have been saying good things about it the entire time.
diablo open beta in 4 hours or so
Has anyone tried it yet? It's just the first two acts, and I think it's pretty nice compared to WC3 Reforged. My only problem is that they seem to be killing mods by disabling TCP multiplayer.
Opened up my Vita recently and was instantly stuck with why I haven't been using it: I desperately need one of those nice 1TB micro sd cards. I've got my library of games spread across 3 micro sd cards, and the game icon bubbles don't sync between swapping out what sd card I'm using because each time on boot my vita does a "Refreshing database" which scraps the previous icon layout. Likewise, even though I somehow figured out a while ago (and have since forgotten) how to keep icons for games not installed on one to stay on another, I can't just swap the sd card and play games installed on that one because then I'll get an error saying "Please insert the game card to play this title" when I try opening one until I restart my vita, which again, scraps the icon layout. What's even more annoying is that I have so many games installed that I have to restart my vita multiple times to get all of the icons to load. There's a maximum number of pages, so only a set number of icons can refresh onto the home each time (not counting folders), meaning if I have 100 games, and there's only space for 50 icons, I need to put those 50 icons into folders and then restart and put the remaining 50 into folders. It's just all such a pain.
Maybe this problem of hotswapping cards and mantaining icon layouts has already been solved and I just need to check out that autoplugin app, but I have no idea.
Figured out how to hotswap the sd cards again. You just have to mount and unmount the card via VitaShell, and then refresh the live area and refresh the license database to save icon layout so it doesn't get reset after rebooting.
there is a bigger sort-of-inventory
it pretty much solved inventory cluttering for me
Huh. It looks a lot like Stardew Valley. I'll have to check it out some time.

I really like Shenzhen I/O. The projects are pretty fun, and definitely require some amount of creative thinking, but the restriction of working with hardware with VERY limited microcontrollers that you program in a sort of pseudo assembly is rather unrealistic. That being said, I think Shenzhen I/O is an easy recommendation to anyone with a programming mindset. If you plan on playing it, you absolutely should go in blind. By its nature, knowing the solution to projects will greatly cheapen your experience if you learn how someone else approached it first. Pic related is technically a spoiler, but it does give somewhat of an idea of the difficulty involved.
However, the difficulty ramp is quite steep. The first few projects are relatively easy, but once you start dealing with multiple inputs and outputs and conditional statements, things start getting a lot more difficult; Shenzhen I/O basically demands that you write fairly optimized code. Unlike with typically programming, you can't just "write your way out" of solving a given problem. Your microcontrollers only have so many lines of code they will accept, and only so many registers for storing values. In other words, you either need to think up an optimized solution as you work, or you need to chain microcontrollers together for completing tasks. A common arrangement is using one microcontroller to perform some operation and/or to store a value, which then gets passed to another microcontroller rather than having everything done on a single chip.
A rather unique part of Shenzhen I/O is that it has an accompanying PDF for use while playing. The PDF contains mock datasheets on each component, as well as general instructions on how the pseudo assembly works and more. If you really want to get into it, the PDF suggests printing out every page and putting them into a binder for a more authentic experience, flipping through pages for information while playing.
Found a cool site for uh, 3DS "preservation" so I'm going to try some 3DS games. https://hshop.erista.me/
. It's pretty hard these days to get stuff without ads and scam links and stuff and I've long since lost my connection to these communities to know where to get them otherwise.
I really need to get a 'holder' extension thingie so my hands don't hurt so much after playing the 2DS XL, though. It REALLY makes my hands sore all day even when I'm not playing it so that's definitely not good
Playing some Tyrian. Couldn't get it to work before, but maybe that was because the shortcut executable didn't have the same options set as the executable in the game folder. Dunno. Not gonna check. Seems pretty fun, but... it's kind of small on my screen. Seems like a good use for my CRT if I ever pull it out to use it.
>>77814>What happened to unlocking this stuff inside the game...
I might be misremembering what game I saw it for, but I saw one that had a good compromise I feel. The Resident Evil remake let you unlock stuff through playing the game as normal, but if you didn't want to spend the time to get those items, you could purchase the DLC to unlock them automatically instead.
I saw that came out so I went to check it out and was immediately turned off by all the day 1 DLC. I will never buy that game now. I hate that this is the new normal.
Tales Games have been like that for a while, it's all fluff so I don't actually have an issue with it though. I don't care for or want those outfits and they don't actually fit into the games.
I wouldn't go that far, but I'm definitely not paying for costumes. It's usually pretty easy to "pirate" DLC while paying for the base game, but you should avoid stuff connected to steam achievements if you think Valve might be watching (which they aren't).
There's really no good way to protest it, because companies could see sagging sales as a sign that they should instead switch completely to mobile. >>77837
True, and Japan has also generally had a lot more of them that can't be transferred over due to licensing stuff and that always bummed me out.
First Tales of Arise nude mod was a male complete with genitals. Since adding geometry is 500x more complicated than just coloring a texture (which is what 99% of female nude mods are) I have to say I'm impressed by whoever did it in such short time. I guess someone already knows how it works, so that's cool.
Monster Hunter Rise is hitting PC in January!
It was a Switch game for like a year, but people assumed it was coming to PC and eventually and they were right.https://store.steampowered.com/app/1446780/MONSTER_HUNTER_RISE/
Capcom is learning
That's cool, but it seems like torturing yourself to play a demo for something that won't be available for a few months.
Wow, I remember this. It's coming along nicely!

I'll be playing LIGHTNING RETURNS™: FINAL FANTASY® XIII
I never played a Final Fantasy after X-2 and I never really felt like I was missing out. What's the appeal of the Lightning games?
I just finished XIII and now I'm playing XIII-2 I'm about halfway done it now, will play Lighting Returns at some point.>>79508
Well if you like a story were shit hits the fan within 12 minutes from starting and the game not letting off the breaks until the final chapter and I do mean pedal to the metal you'll be in fights every 8 minutes with Bosses showing up with no warning. That's on top of a real time battle system that rewards comboing attacks while swapping between three different classes. The story itself isn't so bad outside of a desperate need for world building that is not in the form of a text dump, I personally like having an MC that's a total bitch, Sazh is quite likeable with a good subplot and Hope is cute as heck and best boy subplot and the rest I don't really have an opinion on.
Can't speak about how hard the game is because I play under levelled on purpose, can't talk about XIII-3 because I want to beat it first but the story is reminding me of the scraped story for X before Square rewrote the story.
I never finished XIII, maybe should get back to it some time. I also liked Lightning and Sazh. Got kind of impatient with the cutscenes though, felt like there were way too many of them. Maybe should just start skipping through the ones that don't seem important.
I'm playing it because it has changing outfits as part of the combat system.
Thats the whole reason
why is it so big now? did you buy the tabs?
