Was watching this and it reminded me that I've really loved in the past going outdoors and relaxing in nature when I've been stresssed.I haven't done it that much recently because it's about a 10 minute walk to the nearest park while it used to be right in my backyard when I was a kid, but I bet the feeling would probably be quite similar. I know that recently on my hike to Mt. Fuji, for the parts where I wasn't dead tired or short on breath because of the atmosphere, I really enjoyed just the scenery around me and just the epic scale of the mountain altogether. Maybe I should go and stroll through that park nearby while Autumn's still in full swing.

I know that we're on an imageboard for people that generally stay on the PC all day, but I think usually there's a shared sentiment on /qa/ so I wonder how many more of you like to simply enjoy and appreciate nature inside of it too? When was the last time that you really just went out of your way to go and relax in a forest or something for no reason?

I'm bothered by that being a fake 'live' thing since the lighting never changes. What a shame.

But yes, I love hanging around in nature. Unfortunately I'd have to travel to get to it so I don't really do it. There are a couple "parks" nearby with playgrounds for kids and stuff and it's surrounded by trees, but it's not the same thing as actual nature with larger animals running around. I am very much not a people person and get very anxious around crowds, but nature and animals are very soothing and calming.
Garden is really fun for this reason, too. Too bad it takes so long for trees to grow or I'd plant a miniature privacy forest. (Well and I'm sure it'd be against zoning laws)

Same, I used it because I looked at it for 5 seconds and thought it was nice but it's definitely either AI or on a loop and that's annoying. Says it's footage from a camera, but the internet lies a lot so could be either.

A few years ago I worked outside of town and ended up living in a cabin for the duration of the job. It wasn't exactly isolated, but there was plenty of forest and water surrounding it, and honestly, I really miss just walking the local area on the weekends. There's something really relaxing about being surrounded by silence and nature compared to the city.
Normal life doesn't seem to work out so I might just aim to become a forest hermit instead. At least run down rural properties are fairly cheap where I live.
