Hi /qa/, was wondering if you wanted to add to an imageboard collab happening on wplace.
Wapchan made a big banner in Lum, Michigan, and now Hikari3 and 39chan are adding their own little banners, so maybe kissu can make a banner too? There's a lot of free space below.

You only start out with like 100 dots before you have to wait but the more you do it you can get upgrades that boost your count (I have around 500)

This is not related to Wap or Hikari, but Kissus should be aware that the majority of people frequenting that place are the worst types imaginable, as you should be able to tell from the most common additions on there. I wouldn't advise anyone with anger issues like me to risk getting their work painted over after a while.

No.161882
>>161879That's true, though I personally would say only to a certain extent. Some concerntrolls, ragebaiters and other 4chan rowdies get left alone for what I assume is in favor of free speech if those people actually put some kind of point into their posts next to a barrage of bad manners. This has also happened for reported posts in my experience, though other times the same type of post does get moderated and I believe that has to do with people perceiving heated arguments differently depending on the kind of mood they're in on a certain day. If I recall correctly, one time a report of mine was perceived as a bad faith action because "controversial content" of a post made it look like I had an agenda opposite of it, something similar to that, when in fact my issue was with teenage temper attacks toward someone that didn't warrant them.
This is not to shit on moderation as I hope it's clear I'm aware of how many different factors can influence a decision, even if some of those obviously upset me, it's just me wanting to mention that I think us Anons have a certain responsibility too to minimize risks that can be considered unnecessary. Even the most well-intentioned mods can accidentally trigger a slippery slope with how incredibly fast a community can change if given too much freedom, at which point you can't really go back anymore without tearing everything down first, especially here where community reaction actually plays a part in moderation.
Sorry for the wall of text, that's all from me on this topic in here, unless someone responds in some /b/ thread to let the Wplace thing stand on its own.

On second thought, the taskbar items waste a lot of space for things that are on full display already and we'd need to change the inactive windows' borders to a lighter blue for more authenticity.
I think it might be better to ditch the current taskbar windows and instead use the space for less Kissu-relevant characters - we could shove a lot of stuff in there if we use little squares instead of rectancles, that size you get when the bar is overcrowded and items are set to not group.

This is really fun actually, a nice activity to keep open on the side and make progress on every now and then when your pixels recharged.
If other Anons want to join, here are a few more detailed explanations:
¥ If you don't want to use an existing Gmail account, you can bypass phone verification on a new one by creating it from an Android phone's Settings -> Add accountStill a horrible option if you're paranoid since it will most likely just use your phone information internally, but it's the only way I found. On a side note, I'd appreciate if someone could share options for temporary phone numbers in the "Cool software" thread or some privacy-focused thread on /maho/.
¥ Get "Violentmonkey" (or any other userscript manager of your choice) and install the "Wplace Overlay Pro" script from https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/545041-wplace-overlay-pro¥ Log into Wplace, go to https://wplace.live/?lat=43.09655499416948&lng=-83.16079134697266&zoom=13.085049949212253&zoom=12.5, open up Overlay Pro, click "Import" and paste the following:{
"version": 1,
"name": "Overlay",
"imageUrl": "https://haiji.kissu.moe/qa/src/1758547691536.png",
"pixelUrl": "https://backend.wplace.live/s0/pixel/550/752?x=621&y=2",
"offsetX": 0,
"offsetY": 1,
"opacity": 0.65
}This should automatically align the overlay for you.
¥ I recommend using "Mini-pixel" mode for a good view on both the overlay and the work that was already done¥ Apparently you can also use "Blue Marble" instead >>162220>>162236Thank you for the help! Now that I know how precious resources are here, please do focus on your stuff first and foremost, we will get by somehow.

Now that we are almost caught up with our current progress, we might want to brainstorm for some more ideas. I can try pixeling one of those Kuon images to fit into the thumbnail, but I've already done the lower right side and taskbar items and don't wanna take up even more space in what's supposed to be a collaborative effort. I'd love to see more Kissus add to the image, I don't think it has to look particularly good even so long as it's genuine.

After playing around a bit, it seems that the closest single color match is Gray, which is still too bright but looks better than the darker option that wants to blend with the background.
The other option would be the tryhard checkerboarding of Dark Gray and Gray for a mix that comes close to the original.
