I love the music in this one.
The sound of metal grinding really enhances the playground feel. The song is cute as well, all the while being sad-nostalgia.
Love cute songs that are actually sad when you get into the lyrics.

I would /r/ the new Cat's Eye remake for the stream, but I'm not sure how that could be handled, seeing as it's one of those batch releases for streaming platforms. Not sure what to expect from it also, but the song cover is great!

Oh, i really liked that one too. Thanks for sharing.
I might need to start looking more into the "melancholic songs with cute anime girls on real life backgrounds" music genre.
It also somewhat reminded me of another song i like so i guess i can share it here.

Ran into this song/group when searching for this song by watakan with the same title. Really loving their songs. They have an old-school pop/amateur feel to them. Like something you'd hear in a school live performance.

Would Anonymous happen to know any more Touhou-focused artists with vocals that are pretty much just Noise but melodic and with a Limiter on them?

My "working on stuff" playlist is full of Atelier music and I once upon stumble upon Plachta's menu theme. I think I shared it here a few years ago, but here it is again!
Atelier Sophie is somewhat controversial for being an Atelier game without a timer and suffers from some things as a result, but the music is something everyone can agree is good.

black bidi is really good, kind of this mix between Math Rock and Jazz Fusion. A lot of the artsy-er rock bands from the 90s onward go for a harsher, more somber sound influenced by Radiohead, so it's refreshing to hear something a that's a bit smoother and more energetic.

Heh, didn't think I'd see a BTNH song in kissu of all places. Though the censored version always sounds weird with all the curse words getting distorted. Really like their song, how melodious they are.

Ohh I know that voice. She did a lot of my favorite songs, including a Hina one. (redo-ing the post, now with the song attached)
I never learned the names of all these people since I never spoke the language and translations weren't there. Crazy to see such a reversal where the creators themselves upload them on youtube and English is now 95% of comments. (for better or worse)
Great to see she's still around doing stuff!

I actually didn't even know about that series until I saw an Anon refer to him by the name coming from there. I wish he was more popular in Japan, though thankfully it seems like MKW with its photo mode is helping out a lot. He's funny and adorable.

He's already pretty popular, but shoutouts to Will Wood and the Tapeworms. It's a throwback to that kind of swing-ska-psychobilly mix that was popular in the 90s and includes Mr Bungle but as far as I can tell doesn't actually have a name. When I first heard this song I actually thought it was from the 90s.

As an aside, it's interesting to see people who are too young to remember that kind of music discovering it thru Will Wood and not realizing that he didn't invent it. It's a very strange to watch, but I suppose it's ultimately a good thing that this kind of music hasn't been forgotten.

I really love the instrumentals that KIRINJI uses. They're always a great compliment to the vocals and really are sometimes even more the main draw of the track than said vocals.
