I don't get angry very often, usually just depressed and stuff. For anger, though, I found exercising to be a good way to reduce the stress of it. Lifting some weights, running in place, just channeling the emotion into something that tires me out.
It's more difficult to be angry when you're exhausted.

I rant to myself like a crazy man and stomp around the house and imagine using a knife to defend myself against evil people. Sometimes I pick up an actual kitchen knife. When I am doing this, I am workshopping counterarguments in my head for if the topic ever comes up again.

I just rant to myself and/or scream and curse then it just goes away. I've built up quite the tolerance these past few years from people and their dumb shit. Used to be confrontational before but realized confrontation didn't get me anything but my time and energy wasted.
