No.157378
>>157377What do you mean? They pass them out like candy here. Can't even get $1 for them on the street. They're so common people just give them to me.
If you mean taking them. They don't really have an effect after 2mg. I mean you can take more but it's a total waste because you don't feel higher anyway. I eat 1mg or so maybe once a month now. I used to really enjoy mixing them with alcohol and my other drugs of choice. But I don't do any of those anymore. They help to take the edge off the Government weed that's basically LSD in a bowl though. So I like taking one when I plan on smoking some of that.
I miss getting high on my nightly cocktail of morphine, mxe, xanax, valium, alcohol and weed a lot. Been off most of that stuff for over a decade now. Surprised I'm still alive. Morphine dreams were so comfy and I wish I could still obtain those nightly nods. Great way to wind down after soul crushing day of hard labor and paper work.

Either way, just finshed the last bit of alcohol i had at home at the moment. Wasn't much, just enough to that nice buzzing feeling... hmmm, probably wasn't enough to actually get me drunk so don't know if i should post here... oh well...

I feel anxious the moment I get slightly tipsy, is this normal? I guess I'm just very against losing control or something
No.157642
>>157639That fear of losing control is probably more psychological than physical, but it's a good defense mechanism. Cherish that.
My mother has the same "problem"(?). but my father was a boozehound. I had the same "problem?"(?) until I started drinking alone and stopped caring what others thought of my uncontrolled behavior.
Result: Many hours of fun my restrained personality would have never permitted, but probably also liver damage because no one ever taught me the value of moderation.
TN: Ask your doctor if ethanol is right for you.

1. Divino Juventa Scheisser Burgunder: 7/10 bretty good
2. Chateau Camplong (some kind of red wine from Corbieres): 8.5/10 goode stuffe very thicke
3. Chateau de Bon Ami (Bordeaux): 9/10: don't save this one for last. Roast some kind of red meat before cracking this open. I say this as a vegetarian.
4. Hydrate. Eat fatty food you'll regret in the morning or you'll regret the aforementioned steps instead.

>>157639Never had this issue with alcohol and other downers. I feel really good when they start to kick in. But uppers like MDMA, eating shrooms or smoking pot? Yeah I feel you. For some like MDMA it generally passes fast. For others like shrooms and pot it's hit and miss. Sometimes I can power through and sometimes it just gets horrible until I calm them down with something like alcohol or another downer.
MDMA has this really horrible 5-10 minutes where you feel like you're going to explode. But then before you know it you've felt better than you've ever felt in your life and you're on top of the world. I've learned the worse it is for those 5-10 minutes the better night and longer it'll last so I've learned to embrace it.

>>162223Oh I do too, but scotch is more to enhance a good day rather than to cure a bad one, at least for me.
Recently I tried the Scarabus batch strength. It's mystery meat but still a pretty good Islay if you're into peat.
No.162225
>>162224I'm still exploring scotch as I tried it late after years of drinking corn liquor and aged American whisky. I like both sherry aged and smokey 18+ year old stuff. It's really expensive to try new kinds here due to export/import taxes. So I don't get to try it that often and bars don't stock the good stuff. I got ripped off twice in bars attempting to order high-end scotch which was obviously local whisky poured into a different bottle.
I am also a big fan of mint julips now. But it's so hard to find any place that will serve them in a pewter cup. Which is half of the point.

Cheap bourbon!
Once I had a draem that I was dead and in the afterlife. After being assigned a homer, I was informed that I had to pay rent, and had to get a j*b.
There was also tons of people waiting in line to get a home of their own, so you basically had to play along or get your home reposessed.
Sometimes I wonder if death is just the same as life, just with more fog.
Maybe it's treadmills all the way down?
It's a terrifying prospect, having to w*rk for eternity.
Maybe that
's why people choose to come back to life, to at least get the chance ot betcome neets.
No.165807
>>165785Pretty depressing dream.
I once dreamed death was just consciousness escaping the limitations of the body. Life went on, with its usual cycle of waking and dreaming, but while awake you would notice people dozing off, and dreaming would randomly make you a first person spectator in other people's dreams while they made all the decisions. I realized this would eventually cause everyone's lived experience to converge and make all boundaries between selves fade away. Like human instrumentality, but with such a gentle lead-in it had pretty much no downsides. The only people with recognizable jobs were soldiers, who just stood around dazed and confused because their newly acquired blend of experiences and perspectives made them unsure who they were supposed to be fighting. The end result would be a hive mind that only lived to play-act gleefully.
I forgot what I drank that night, but it wasn't cheap or bourbon.
No.166294
>>165807>I once dreamed death was just consciousness escaping the limitations of the body. The more time goes on the more I think this has to be case. You can't say software is merely a bunch of electrons moving around, likewise with consciousness. Even if we assume so you cannot remove the immaterial property that allows the electrons to function as software instead of noise.
The main problem is we're stuck in an elaborate sort of mental prison that misplaces our attention so we never develop our consciousness.
This is the key to salvation and freedom.
