There were a ton of channels(about 30 112 created from April to date) using CSS hacks that looked mallicous in nature. Lots of flood of people with 50 usernames associated to hosting offsite porn and western movies and other stuff. An IP lookup of the IPs looked to be on the same subnet.

Sites that were being used were CSS off of https://rlcextras.com/public/
and videos/porn hosted on https://www.nslookup.io/domains/darkcloudsolutions.com/webservers/

Hence the content is deleted.

Well, anyway, kissu theatre is a fork of cytube, which is open source ( https://github.com/CyTube ) so I think it's easy enough to make your own website for it. It's not demanding on bandwidth since it requires content to be hosted elsewhere, and you were already doing that.
Just because you can use someone's websites for your own designs that clearly go against the spirit of the site doesn't mean you should.

Oh, huh. I could see them doing that to avoid the headache of managing all of it. People had hosted stuff for doxing, raiding and presumably very illegal stuff, so the choice would either be to get a team of moderators to comb all channels every day or just focus on the software side of things.

This is just my uneducated brain speaking, but maybe make it password protected? Put the password in a thread or behind one of the anime captcha games or similar where the average user would understand, but some retard just wanting to use it as a platform for malicious stuff can't be arsed to do it. Just something that's easy for someone regularly interacting with the site to do.
Or some batshit requirement like get a certain high score or a 1cc in a Touhou game before getting access, like rensenware did with encrypting your files unless you got 200 million score in UFO. Unrealistic, but it's a funny thought.
Either they bruteforce and get around the password, jump through your hoops, or go somewhere else.

Aight... clear up a few things.. first the CSS file / script that was in each channel, was only to force the content to be viewed full screen. Nothing else.

We are part of a social platform called Utherverse. Your site is one of only a few that still will show content properly from within that platform. There is an issue with the open source version and this social platform. The current open source version does not allow for video playback within the game.

There was nothing nefarious with what we were doing and I did not realize it was a violation of TOS having our playlists hosted here on your site. You have my apology for that.

I wish I could make the CURRENT open source version work as it would save me SOO much headache.

Anyways... sorry again. Know that there was no hacks or anything involved... just a css script to force full screen viewing.

To the admin... I would love if you could send me the version of software you are running so that I can try to make my own.

Neat. Yeah, I don't think we thought it was anything overtly nefarious or anything, but I imagine it must have been very unexpected for the admin to stumble upon. You kind of need to make split second decisions when you see something like that.
I think the internet would certainly benefit from more cytube clone sites and the github link above should help with that, I think. Cytube is a good frontend from what I've seen, but it's relatively unknown.

It was late.. but tried to get the files loaded into one of my spare linux boxes. It kept asking for a username and password to authenticate with GitHub... going to try again today.
