Lets play a game /qa/!!

you will be the directors of the feared imouto rescue squad. A highschool club of imoutos that use fearsome weapons and tactics to rescue kidnapped onii-chans, wherever they are in the world...

the rules I will be using are Osprey - Black Ops.
It's the most fun rules that allows for stealth, and action gameplay and feels to me like the best simulation of small unit tactics that you can easily DM for

I've uploaded the rules for your enjoyment, but I will be adjusting the rules a bit to make the game work better. Don't worry about it too much....

Ninjas have the big advantages of being able to see in the dark while the enemy can't, and run without making any noise. That alongside the ISR would give us a lot of freedom, last time we got pinned down hard while the enemy encroached us (and the briefing says they can call on reinforcements, so there's that).

the right image is a map of the local area. Dark green is light brush forest. Pink flags indicate affiliation with the evil kidnappers. Yellow indicates Neutral affiliation.

they will drop you off, and you can ask them to pick you up. but they won't hang around the objective.

you can choose the time and place of drop off and pick up, but you need to plan all drop off and pick up locations ahead of time.

Floating peacefully in earth orbit, a mysterious space station hums to life. The lights turn on, and plumes of nitrogen gas spray everywhere as the elite neko catgirls are thawed out. Wires download the mission details into their brains before unscrewing from the back of their heads.

A few minutes of buffeting, restless descent later their drop pods decelerate. Wings pop out and ultra light carbon gliders silently bring them in over the moonlit objective. The wind scatters one of the catgirls off course! (1d6) but she manages to bring her glider close to her friends anyway, phew! (1d4)

Nya - hits the ground out of formation and lets out a quite OOF! (one noise token)
Miko and Kiri silently touch down and fold the wings of their gliders out of sight

As the schoolgirls descend they only noticed one guard, its quickly disseminated over the neko comms net
there is a guy in the northernmost guard tower shining a spotlight around attached to a machine gun, he hasn't spotted anything yet

he seems to react to the slight noise of the glider, and prods his subordinate to walk around.
You see a guard armed with a rifle aimlessly walk into sight to the north of the tower. He doesn't look like he can see anything.

the enemy camp is in a clearing about a kilometer on all sides. The forest is far off the screen. You are in a barren desert with some scrubs and small rocks and micro terrain. There isn't really any natural cover or concealment to speak of. Other than the darkness of night.

I think Nya should run away, since her running makes no noise, and it keeps her at a good distance away from the enemy. Staying put in place doesn't really make a difference, unless there's a specific mechanic that allows her to drop down and stay somewhat hidden even without cover.

Turn 2 -
Nya hunkers down low in the bush, pushing her face into the dirt and stops breathing entirely. She is practically not even there.

Miko and Kiri start silently running towards the tower, breaking into a full sprint faster than any biohuman but somehow in complete silence. As they approach they fail to spot anything in the tower.

The wandering guard continues to wander around

about to continue the same plan unless someone replies before I finish Turn 3

Miko silently slinks into the guard tower, she sniffs the air as she creeps up the wooden steps. She smells someone for sure.... Her cat ears perk up and she tunes in to their breathing

Sure enough as enters the guard hut, there is a sleeping machine gunner curled up on the floor. Miko places her hand over his mouth to stop him from crying out, he wakes up.... but its too late

He struggles briefly, but her claws easily dig into his throat and tear it out in one easy motion. She is careful to not get any blood on her pristine school uniform either.

Kiri is quietly providing security from the base of the tower

From her new vantage point Miko can see the whole encampment.

The tower guard turns from the noise, but turns the wrong way
the wandering guard still wanders

Miko spots a truck with a machine gun parked in a dug in on the far side of the base. And light coming from the two story building

Nya crawls along towards the stairs

The guard walks away so Nya takes the opportunity to creep silently up the stairs, with her silenced SMG in one hand and her claws out on her other. sloowly stepping and inching upwards

the guard shifts around lazily, without a care in the world

riiiight behind him ready to pounce

Nya steps quickly behind the guard, driving her foot into back of his knee and her claws into his face. Pulling him to the floor and tearing his face clean off. Stomping her school loafer into his windpipe to stop even a squeak from emerging from his mouth

wandering guard...
goes 'Huh?' and continues to wander....

Should we go after the wandering guy? The getaway will be going in the opposite direction towards the truck, and I'm not sure it's worth risking over going towards the buildings. Otherwise regroup near a window by the smaller building, on its east side I would say.

If the door is locked I don't think it's a good idea for them to force themselves in when they have the advantage on a sleeping unit. If they can go through the window by lifting one above the other and pushing through that might be better and then Nya/Kiri could carefully kill all of them 1 by 1 slitting their throats or something.

Bursting into action, Nya lets go of Kiri's behind and b-lines it for the door, already bringing her weapon up to ready

Kiri is already ready on the trigger, and her entire magazine into the goons forehead and the rest of the sleeping soldiers.

Two of the three soldiers are instantly killed before they even wake. The final one is stumbling to his feet

Nya kicks at the door, her superhuman cyborg leg smashes fully through the reinforced door. Leaving the door still locked, but Nya awkwardly wedged halfway in the room. Frustrated she decides to fire blindly into the room anyway

Amazingly she actually hits the final bad guy and kills him too

A door at the end of the room opens, and a more dangerous looking guy with a LMG pops out. He decides to empty a drum out of his machine gun into the broken doorway

By luck alone, Nya survives as the bullets outline her silhouette. One even passes through her blouse without touching her skin! phew!!!

Ok here we go

The soldier in the building has barricaded himself at the back of the room

Miko has began running towards her friends, even with her insane-bolt level of superhuman speed she only makes it about halfway. She spots anther bad guy rounding the corner behind building 2. She still has time to react and shoot, or try and keep running instead.

At the door, Nya uses her free hand to smash a porthole and empties her magazine into the barricaded enemy. 2 rounds fly true, but thanks to his armor and hard cover. He passes both saves!

he returns fire, unleashing his deafeningly loud machine gun. Everyone nearby is certainly awake at this point
The burst hits Nya center mass
she drops straight down like her switch got hit. Her body has shutdown all non-critical functions.

she must receive medical care in the next turn or permanently die. She must be evacuated in four turns or permanently die.

Kiri is still wedged in the window waiting for your order
Miko can decide to keep sprinting, or to engage the guy on the corner

Kiri and Miko move up along the buildings on line, towards the vehicle, ready to fire

The arch nemesis badguy is prone in the vehicle pit, you guys both see eachother and open fire

While advancing steadily the girls fire subtly aimed bursts
The head boss goon lays prone and blasts full auto at the same moment

he is shredded by rounds, his head exploding like a gory microwaved watermelon

Miko yells out in celebration, she can already smell the hostage cowering in the vehicle pit. A scared onii-chan!!

but she looks to her left in horror

Kiri's head is blown completely off.......

The hostage is the last living biohuman left in the compound. Miko pulls him out from under the toyota and efficiently checks him over for wounds. She sits Nya in the passenger seat on onii-chans lap, and instructs him to hold pressure on her wound

Kiri is wrapped in a tarp in the back seat

The girls managed to complete the mission before Nya died. And before the militia reinforcements arrived.

The c-130 from operation eagle claw meets them in another clearing. Blasting rocket engines to roll to a halt, while club members usher the technical onboard. It's quickly taking off into the air in less than a minute

A full ICU is rolled out in the cargo bay and Nya and Kiri are descended upon by flight surgeons

on this mission you:
Killed 8 bad guys
took 1 KIA
took 1 casualty
rescued the onii-chan
did not stumble upon enemy reinforcements
did not get caught in any of the IED traps the bad guys put on the map
