so I'm eligible for all of these:
>11–80: A first-generation upper-middle-class person with middle-class parents. Typical: 33.
>0–43: A second-generation (or more) upper-middle-class person who has made a point of getting out a lot. Typical: 9.
>0–20: A second-generation (or more) upper-middle-class person with the television and movie going habits of the upper middle class. Typical: 2.
the first of these is the one that describes me the best, having manual laborer parents while I went to university and got a white collar job

>>5232Exactly this. One of the questions is about NASCAR driver of all things. I answered no to all the questions about movies/TV shows and I still got a 65. Whoever made this quiz is a hardcore urban dweller.

>>5232>>5244The correlation between media tastes and economic class really isn't as strong as this guy seems to think. Outside of the NASCAR question, I found it telling that there was conveniently no mention of other American sports which would definitely see more common interest across socioeconomic groups. The internet has also made a lot of hobbies and media more accessible so yeah this dude is just pushing his own biases.

Not 'murican, so naturally I got a score in the single digits regardless of my actual class.
