Can 3D printing replicate the smooth curved form of a doll? I thought it was still rough around the edges, literally.
how many 3D printers do you guys own?
One for each doll.
Wish I had a doll
I own 0!
But it's your job to make them, not me!
Just stop being poor....
An artist I followed on pixiv uploaded an image and I saw they had a store page, but it's all out of stock anyway. I'm glad it's a success. https://hdnlkwai.booth.pm/
Would you talk to your doll
Not sure. I already write down things as if I were explaining them to someone, and when talking to myself I usually have a back and forth as if it were a conversation. But the doll isn't me or an emulated person, so I can't say.
Yeah I'm not sure if I would either.
I think I would now, I'd say good morning and good night to my doll friend. We would also eat dinner together sometimes, and play video games in the evening. After awhile she would start welcoming me home from work.
Just be a schizo, then your doll can talk back
FDM definitely is like that, but resin printing has a lot better resolution.
Been looking at a dolfie dream, maybe buying the parts separately and then paying someone on easy to do the face-up but it all sounds so difficult.
