I liked it a lot more before the stands were introduced.
I LIKE YOU
Part 6 is the worst part.
The only reason Part 6 exists is to act as a launching pad to the best part.
Stands are objectively better and allowed the series to grow.
Hamon vs vampire shit or Hamon vs hominid asshole with a god-complex is cool, but there's literally nothing to do with it, it already peaked.
I remember first learning about Jojo in a Gamepro game review in like 2000 or something. I kept hearing about it over the ensuing years and still to this day haven't read or watched any of it. I'd probably like it, I'm just not good at starting things.
thank you for reading my blog
It felt like it slowly went downhill until the arc in japan which was the point I could not take any more. It's also funny how people bash something like Naruto for filler yet I have not heard the same attack on Jojo even when Stardust Crusaders was entirely filler apart from maybe a few episodes at the start and end.>>15918
I would argue the opposite, hamon could have been used in far more interesting ways and could have more that actually impacts it as it is supposed to be internal power. A stand is just a stand, it's set and that is that. There is no room for development and they are one trick ponies.

When people talk about filler in something like Naruto they usually mean specifically anime-original content made to pad the runtime to avoid getting ahead of the manga while still sticking to a weekly release schedule, and Jojo doesn't have that kind of thing at all.
I watched 30 episodes of Jojo, and so far it's absolute shit. It's just generic action trash with no real story and follows no logic. Heroes just pull shit from their ass, and nothing really matters. I highly doubt it's going to improve in 1000 episodes or whatever because it's already pandering to the plebeians who eat up capeshit. I'm convinced anyone who likes Jojo is a genuine NPC.
Yes, this manga that started in the 80s is definitely aimed at fans of modern American superhero movies. What an enlightening post.
What was the last sentence even meant to communicate? It is just a mess of memes and slightly incoherent rage.

Story of my life.
Kill yourself back to reddit.
Yeah but you can make tons of different stands, and Araki still could pull off a unique way to utilize "one-trick phony" ability even if consistency can be damned.
That said, I don't think the series would turn into 6 manga of unique plots and fights as it is today without Stand.
