 No.3743

This is a thread for random, passing thoughts that might not deserve their own thread.

 No.3744

I had a realization. Younger people have more time. Things literally move slower for them. I had another realization. Young children, and especially babies, cry after minor things like not getting what they want, or from a minor scraped knee, because from their limited experience it literally is the worst thing that's happened to them. I think if you think about both of these ideas put together it explains why younger people seem so much more passionate and creative. Like, their perception of time and lack of preconceptions on aesthetics and sensibilities lead them in experimental directions an older person is far less likely to be capable of -- otherwise, if they do, they're typically "eccentric". I'm not sure this makes sense. I can't figure out how to put this to words.

 No.3745

Every time I see one of these threads, my mind suddenly goes empty and I have nothing to post.

trying to figure out what to draw on the talismans is hard, and I'm not very good at doing hair

 No.3747

Is there something wrong with me when I'm bumping entire pages of threads at a time?
I often wonder if it's worth the effort of writing a unique post and getting a good image.

There is literally nothing wrong with having more than one waifu.

Explain, why is it wrong to want to have more than one waifu?

 No.3753

>>3751
waifus are an inherently shared resource, so it's just fair to have multiple

Just to make sure we're on the same page: waifu isn't a synonynm for "anime female I find marginally appealing at the time" as it has been co-opted by normalfags and seasonal anime watchers.
Waifu is one and only. She who is perfect and irreplaceable such that you love her and hold onto her dearly for many years; her folder upon your hard drive exceeds the material of any other girl by gigabytes and thousands of files. You don't just swap her out like a change of clothes with the coming and going of seasonal anime. Haremfags will make excuses such as "I have too much love to give for a single person" and to them I say they lack the love and devotion for a single girl, much less a harem. If she doesn't drive you with a fervor to draw and write about her or at least surround yourself with her image, then she's not your waifu, she's a floozie.
If you think you have multiple waifus then you haven't found her yet.

Having a waifu… is serious business…

>If she doesn't drive you with a fervor to draw and write about her or at least surround yourself with her image, then she's not your waifu
But most of the women in my harem are like inspiration for my writing and all that so bleh.

 No.3757

I often blame myself for not having empathy/love for people, like I'd only get along with people cuz i see a value or a benefit in them, i lowkey hate it

No, that's how imageboards are meant to work. It can reignite older discussion and it often does. Any thread that isn't archived can come back to life. Bump 50 threads at once if you have something to say in each of them.
'Free thoughts thread' on the other hand...

Why is it called toothpaste
You don't clean one tooth, you clean all your teeth so for starters it'd be more like teethpaste. But even then it makes it sound like you're using grounded up and creamed teeth, turned into a paste which is also weird. So technically it should be called teeth cleaning paste

Just happened to me.

Bugs and crabs and spiders have an M-shaped body structure that looks like a suspension bridge.

 No.3767

Back in about 2010 when strike witches first came out i kept wondering how a non-mammal animal would work for a transformation like that, and then i kept thinking about a naval bomber that had shark-features. i kept thinking of growing gills and the big fin, but it didn't really "read" as a shark so i gave up.
now there's two shark girls in mainstream i can think of (the vtuber and the maid from zenless zone zero) and they just added a big meaty tail. wonder why i never thought of that.

OP subject lines from other image boards which I find very funny:

Imagined a character different from how they were described in a book. Thought they had brown or blonde hair, but their hair is actually red.

It's a hard realization that no one really gets older mentally past a certain point. Most people are still just 20-somethings trapped in a body slowly falling apart...

When I was around eight years old I was already thinking about this problem. I made a bunch of mental notes for future me to respect the thoughts, beliefs and actions of eight year old me, because you shouldn't dismiss kids just because they're young
It's been a lot of time since and honestly I can't find anything wrong with eight year old me's behaviours or ideas. I don't think I changed at all since them, I only got more experience and more loneliness.

I still remember my siblings and I getting allowance and I go to buy soda at the store and then my dad bought everyone soda except me because I already bought soda. So now everyone else has soda and money and I have soda and no money. Injustice.
Children must be treated with a level of respect because while they can't necessarily explain why they are upset, they definitely can tell when they're being treated unfairly or like idiots. That soda is a trauma I will never forget.

I completely understood why my older brothers got phones and computers before me though, and I completely understood why it felt unfair to them that I got it at a younger age than them. I think they also understood that it's worse for me to watch them enjoy things they have that I don't have than it was for them to simply never have it. Children are remarkably clever even if they often make horrible logical mistakes like all A are B therefore all B must be A. Now if only they wouldn't think it's unfair that an adult "can stay up all night" and they have to go to bed at 9. You'll be an adult eventually little sport, enjoy getting lots of sleep for now.
