Bisque Doll is something that definitely has mixed-gender appeal. It's obviously aimed at women, but with enough sex appeal to get men watching. Which makes it extra weird to me that Gojo is so standoffish, even if he satisfies the checklist of tall guy with yaoi hands open to changing himself. Although, maybe that's what makes it popular, it's kind of unique in that way? You don't know what he'll do next apart from get in the way of Marin's plans for things to go smoothly.
Either way, it's the easy way of ensuring a story can go on forever, or at least as long as the creators have the motivation for it. It makes shows where romance progresses steadily shine all the more brightly.

I haven't watched anything but puniru this season yet. Been too busy. This reminded me of some strange thread I stumbled upon with people arguing about the correct way to wear stockings. It was pretty heated debate (I'm in the over underwear camp)

For the most part I think you get really moribund relationships in Seinen magazines too. They're just different in that they aren't mostly cocktease sitcoms.
