But since the video didn't work for me on firefox (neither on windows or android), i suspected it has something to do with lack of 10bit color codec support on some implementations, since that's happened before.
It runs fine in both chrome (windows or android) and in mpv.
mpv also reported the video codec indeed was 10bit color (format yuv420p10).
I tested converting the video format down to the more widely supported 8bit instead (yuv420p), and uploaded it

For ffmpeg you'd add
-pix_fmt yuv420p to force the format to yuv420p. I'm not sure if all video codecs supports it, but libx264 should at least.
It might not solve all issues but it might solve some of them.
